Is Case Command a lawyer or a law firm?
No. It is software and organizational support. It does not give legal advice or represent you, and using it creates no attorney–client relationship. You make every decision and sign every filing.
Will it win my case?
No one can promise that. Outcomes depend on your facts, your evidence and the court. What it can do is make sure nothing in your own file surprises you — and that the other side's best argument is one you have already seen.
Does it file or send anything for me?
Never on its own. It prepares and checks; you review, approve and file or send.
What do I need?
A Mac (a recent Apple-silicon model is best), your own Claude subscription, and your documents. Guided and White-glove plans include setup.
What kinds of documents can it read?
PDFs (including scans and faxes), photos (including iPhone HEIC), e-mail files from Apple Mail and Gmail exports, Word documents, screenshots, and audio and video when transcribed. Anything it cannot prove it read is shown to a person.
What courts and case types is it built for?
Civil matters a person commonly handles on their own — consumer debt and credit reporting, small claims, landlord–tenant, insurance and benefit disputes. The pricing follows California's court tiers; the method works anywhere.
Can it tell me what to argue?
It organizes the record, tests positions against it and shows you the strongest arguments on both sides, with sources. Which path to take is your decision — and for anything complex or high-stakes, a lawyer's.
